Exef Sterile Cefotaxime Sodium is an antibiotic. Exef Sterile Cefotaxime Sodium is a semi synthetical, broad spectrum cephalosporins for parenteral administration, Exef Sterile Cefotaxime Sodium is supplied as dry powder in vials, while each vial of 250mg contain 262.5mg and Each vial of 500mg Exef contains 525 mg and each vial of 1g Exef contain 1.o5 g anhydrous cefotaxime sodium.
Clinical Pharmacology 
Fallowing IM administration of a single 500 mg or 1g dose of Cefotaxime Sodium, mean peak serum concentrations of 11.7 and 20.5mcg/ml respectively were attained with 30 minutes and decline with an elimination half life of approximately 1 hour. There is no evidence of accumulation following repetitive IV infusion of 1g doses every six hours for 14 days as there are no alternations of serum or renal clearance. About 60% of the administered dose was recovered from urine during the first 6 hours, following the start of infusion
